With Independence Day approaching, please remember that the City of Kansas City, Missouri prohibits the use of fireworks within the City limits.  And with the recent hot, dry weather, the danger of fire is high.  Please enjoy your celebrations, but do so without fireworks.  To report violations of the City's fireworks regulations, please contact the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department. 

 

Even though you can't celebrate with fireworks at home, there are lots of July 4th activities throughout the metro area where you can enjoy time with family and friends. . . and see some great fireworks displays.
